Compliance
You can be assured of a teachers compliance - over and above the requirements of the DfE we’ve done the hard work before you get to see a teacher! - a teacher will never commence an assignment without having had a face to face interview with at least 2 iQ consultants; will have had their eligibility to work in the UK, identification and qualifications verified; will have had at least 2 reference checks from previous teaching positions: will have undergone a Childrens Barred List (List99) and NCTL prohibition check; will have a valid Enhanced DBS; and (if applicable) will have undergone overseas police clearance.

We not only source candidates from our extensive database but advertise on education specific job boards and printed media, subscribe to external data sources, use social media and value referrals from other teachers to attract top quality talent for your school. iQ will never bombard a school with unsubstantiated CVs with a 'see what sticks' approach!
We know our teachers
We go a long way to ensuring that we know our teachers and understand their skills, expertise and reputation. From an initial telephone interview, we will apply for their references and only on receipt of satisfactory references do we invite the teacher for a face to face interview, ensuring that we only register the best teachers. Our application and registration process includes understanding their knowledge, skills and views on areas such as assessment, differentiation, inclusion, handling disruptive pupils and classes, diversity, promoting a positive learning environment and themselves as quality educators, understanding special educational needs, curriculum knowledge and lesson planning.

iQ's offices are staffed from 6:45am until at least 6pm and outside of normal office hours the main line is diverted to a consultant to ensure that you always get to speak to someone at what ever time you need to arrange cover or need advice.
